I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me. But by the grace of God, I am what I am: and his grace which was given to me has not been for nothing; for I did more work than all of them; though not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God: Only let your behaviour do credit to the good news of Christ, so that if I come and see you or if I am away from you, I may have news of you that you are strong in one spirit, working together with one soul for the faith of the good news; Then have no care for tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Take the trouble of the day as it comes. The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Ruler of all gives me life.
